Fr. Agnel Technical High School is an English medium institution with a technical stream recognized by the government of Maharashtra. It has also an English medium primary section recognized by the Mumbai municipal corporation. The school has the status of minority institution vide Maharashtra government certification no: अशैस- 2012/प्र.क्र.100/2012/का.4, Dated 23.05.2012.
The school was founded in 1961 by the Society of St. Francis Xavier, Pilar, and is conducted by the Agnel Ashram Fathers, well-known and appreciated for their contributions in the field of Technical Education both in the State and outside.
The primary purpose of the school is to provide sound education with a strong technical base to the youth of the city, irrespective of class or creed. It stands for academic excellence, development of technical skills and formation of character based on the love of God and service to the neighbor with a view to train citizens distinguished for their all round development and commitment to God and to the Country.
